He'll make good trade bait after a few pro games played. Either him or Kivihalme or Hollowell or Rasanen will get thrown in a package as the "good Dman prospect" so Dubas can dump a bad salary or acquire a proven second pair Dman.

Do the Leafs even have any contracts that they have to dump? Especially ones that they'd have to pay to dump?

The majority of the sheep here believe the Leafs would have to pay a team to take Marner as a salary dump, lol

Like so many "prospects", the chances of being a NHLer is smaller and being a difference maker in the NHL even smaller. Good luck to him and all prospects.

Does anyone really think 25 year old Kivihalme, Danish leaguer Rasanen or even bypassed in two drafts, playing in the ECHL at times Hollowell are NHL prospects?

yep a prospect is a prospect if they were drafted they are prospects. Now prospects come in tiers so depending on how trades are made prospects like Kivihalme, Hollowell would have to be traded in a package for bigger returns. Kral played with current Oiler Yamamoto so could interesting in a year or two to see what he brings for the leafs.

I know, very few NHL guys, media or fans had much hope in Holl as a prospect but look what he turn into. Same goes for Billington in Stl. Or the Zamboni driver, lol.

holls should write a book about his experiences cause man he went from being a healthy scratch in the majority of 2018/2019 season to being a top pairing guy with Muzzin. As for that Zamboni Driver when the leafs win a cup within the next 5 years I want them to make him an honorary member and give him a ring. Cause thanks to him a spark was lit and we beat tampa twice this year and the kids finally realized man we need to get our act together.
