Well thats a rebuild alright. Lovely to staple yourself to Little and Okposo for the next 4 years. Exactly when Karlsson couture and Kane will be inefective and then we just lose for another 4 years

Alright now trading Hertl for Cozens would be a 1 for 1. He doesn't carry more value than that. Buf is not so desperate to trade Okposo when they could use their own buyout on him.

I'd guess it would be an easy pass for the Sabres. Hertl has 2 years left on his contract and just blew out his knee. They cbo Okposo. By time the Sabres are ready to compete Hertl will be an UFA and the Sabres are left without 2 top 8 picks. Maybe for Meier. He's younger and has at least 4 years of control...
