Sabres won't be braking up Reinhart and Eichel. Kahun is not going to be on the fourth line, that's a good one.

I could be wrong but I’d have to guess Columbus gets better offers for Anderson. A 7th round pick and a 4th liner isn’t going to get it done. Thompson is bordering on bust territory and hasn’t been able to stay in the NHL for a full season.

Personally I’d rather just get a 2nd for Anderson and let our scouts work and draft a player vs taking on a guy who won’t be anything and a potential bust.

That seems like a high price to pay for a guy who'll be on his sixth team and has never broken 50 points, especially if you're only going to sign him for 4 years.

Khudobin is a good thought.

I think Skinner-Reinhart-Anderson could be an interesting line.

Fair points....Taking a chance here he can still improve further, he just needed to get his confidence back after being put in the doghouse in multiple organizations he has a lot of talent also played world juniors with Reinhart as his Center...Hes also an RFA where Risto hasnt worked out in BUF and will be UFA and walk in 2 years so its not a huge deal...OTT gets someone who can take some mins away from Chabot so he doesnt have to play a half hour every night

i think its a fair deal, but its hard to gauge Ristolainens value at this point

Khudobin is a no brainer, Hutton cost us at least 5 games this year and completely lost Kruger's trust he didnt see the net for like 20 some games straight.....overpay for a great backup if its what you have to do to give Ullmark a chance to rest when needed

Generating all of the team’s offense from one line failed in 2018-19, and failed once more this past season.

Your point about Ristolainen is well taken. Value on him varies so widely (and wildly) here on CapFriendly that I now have no sure idea what his trade value in the real world is. I want him to be traded just to see which half of the world is shocked and which half says I Told You So.

I'm not sure that you're overpaying Khudobin at all -- I think you're paying exactly the right amount of money for a guy who could shoulder the #1 spot if (God forbid) Ullmark gets injured.

All in all, nice post.
