Not just that...think of all the people who have lost jobs in the last two weeks and the people who will lose jobs in the next month or so.
Basically discretionary money will be minimal at best for society and that means sports events will take a hit. It's best for the NHL and the PA to brace for a loss at the gates and prepare for an entire season of this.
No CBO. Look GM's are expected to manage the cap. The good and the bad. The cap wasn't set in stone and the likelihood is the cap will stay flat or go down a bit. Teams will just have to make moves around it. The only way there will be CBO's is if the cap goes down at least 5 mil. I don't forsee that.
