A waste of $105k at the AHL level. I'd rather just pay a rookie 70k

Habs don't have many talented offensive prospect, we players that can produce offensively in the ahl. There is no salary cap in the ahl so no problems on the amount given.

Would rather make the playoffs with skilled players then miss out again. He's a guy we need in order to make the playoffs in Laval.

I was being facetious. I just remember when Dauphin was considered a high end prospect. I have no issues with this signing.

He's an AHL guy without much upside beyond it, but he's a good AHL guy at least. Played really well in Laval

In NHL 14, he became a 93 overall 50 goal scorer 3 or 4 seasons in for me.
