Pretty good summer

Team: 2019-20 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 3, 2020
Published: Apr. 3, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
1  DET = Alexis Lafrenière – LW
2  OTT = Quinton Byfield - C
3  ANA = Tim Stützle – LW – C - RW
4  OTT = Marco Rossi - C
5  LA = Jamie Drysdale - D
6  NJ = Alexander Holtz – RW - LW
7  BUF = Lukas Raymond - RW
8  MTL = Cole Perfetti – LW - C

23th  CAR = MTL = Braden Schneider
39th  MTL = William Wallinder
61th  STL = MTL = Luke Tuch
70th  MTL = Egor Sokolov

Just supposed the draft lineup is like this. For an eight pick overall i'd say this little mock draft here is the best case scenario for MTL (again for an eight pick overall, as everyone i want lafreniere but i really doubt we'll win the lottery or a top 3). I also doubt that Perfetti wont be take by there but supposed were lucky in our badluck to pick eiight and we're able to draft him.

As CaptainFlynnt say in his previous GM - aichair ‘’Sergachev offersheet’’
TB are in trouble with the cap signing cernak, cirelli and sergachev with a pace cap of 6.2 million. Yes, they could make a trade with another guy to make space for him but I doubt it because they all have NTC so they’ll have to remove it and I’m pretty sure this close of winning a Stanley cup nobody will accept of being trade. Killorn is the only one you can afford to trade but everyone knows it so you’ll have to trade him at a low cost or keep it and other teams wont cry with you. That being said, an offersheet on sergachev is really predictable and should be made. I’m not sure Montreal will win it since if he has more than once he could decline one and accept another one and we trade him first so it will be understandable but it could be a great add at a low cost for mtl if he accepts it and tampa cant match it.

  3. 2020 3rd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
Winnipeg needs a defenseman able to play big minutes time at a time and kulak is not bad. Also he's on contract for another year same as lowry but you save 1 million and they'll have to sign thes one : kulikov, demelo, beaulieu and niku. I honestly think kulak is better than beaulieu. They receive a prospect and 3rd round for a guy in lowry that they dont know if they'll be able to sign when he'll become ufa.

  1. Lemieux, Brendan
  2. Lundqvist, Henrik ($4,250,000 retained)
  3. 2020 1st round pick (CAR)
Additional Details:
they get rid of lundqvist since they have a good tandem with giorgev et shesterkin. MTL will take him as a great second goalie.

You made such a nice story and all but ruined because you haven't selected the proper year so you had to create all these players. Please watch out next times to select correct year.

I'd love to get Wallinder with pick 39OA but I'm pretty sure he'll squeeze in the 1st round like Bjornfot did last year ... Even if you're convinced he'll make it to day 2, one team will take a swing earlier than expected.
Don't know about the Rangers trade as it doesn't make much sense for us ... We lose a top 6 winger and a 4th line specialist for a fourth line guy, an aging goaltender and 18 spot increament? I know Drouin doesn't hold Sergachev's value anymore but he isn't a scrub either.
GMs liked this.

Ikonen signed a 2 years deal with a Liiga team 2 weeks ago, Norlinder signed a 1-year contract in Sweden, Struble Harris & Caufield are going back to college, Raphael Harvey-Pinard will most likely play in the ECHL, not top6 in the AHL. Many many mistakes are you a Habs fan or what ?

how often does a top 10 in a stacked draft only have 1 Defensman ?

this is a list of the best, its ignoring what teams need.
NHL .com factored this in though in their final rankings . (project #10-12 )
NHL predicts #7OA will be Jake Sandersen who's a solid 6'1 mobile LD who's 17 and favored to be this years USNTDP most valuable player.(as per NHL)

The more and more i look at him and realize he's twice the Defensman Seider was when DET took him almost 10 spots ahead of projections in the top 10 .
