+/- is an overrated stat... I mean, OVI was -35 in 13-14, did he have a bad year? Nah. He's -12 this season yet he's having an elite season

I don't neccesarily think its overrated. I think that there is a lot of variables to it that people need to look into when analyzing players. Like for example a team that's rebuilding or a team with bad goaltending. For forwards, if it's a guy getting 50+ points nobody cares if he's a -20. For defensemen I think it's different and more useful. If a guy is a -20 or worse on a non rebuilding team then it ain't a coincidence they just suck defensively. Or having a bad season w/e. Some defensemen like Doughty are so paranoid of having a - next to there name they play way better defensively because of it. He HATES being a minus. Obviously he's on a rebuilding team that sucks right now so theres not a whole lot he can do better.

Talking about the Kings, why do you think Rob Blake is an idiot? The team needed to rebuild and he did exactly that... you drafted Turcotte, Bjornfot, acquired Madden, Grundstrom, Durzi, picks, why is he an idiot?

He started this rebuild by hiring the worst head coach in Flyers history because "He's a great friend and a huge hockey fan" then hired him a season later after finally realizing how dumb he was and had no system. Then he hired one of the worst head coaches in Canucks history Willie D. Luckily it was interm only. I was very mad when he hired Todd, but luckily he actually knows what he is doing. As far as the drafting goes almost 0% of that is Blake's doing. Yes he makes the final call, but all that credit goes to Yannetti and his scouts. Grundestrom doesn't fit LA's system so I imagine he will be traded soon. Blake is extremely passive and extremely lazy. Do I need to mention the Kovi signing? The Kovi signing would have been fine if Blake grew a pair to stop playing the 6M guy he signed on the 3rd and 4th line. If Kovi was playing with Kopitar all year his stats would have been significantly better. I have many more reasons, but that's the gyst of it all.

That's what I meant by Todd. Sorry I hate spelling his last name. At first yes, but he has our boys on a system that looks pretty good. He knows what he's doing so I'm at peace with it now. However, when the time comes when the Kings are a playoff team/contender that's probably when he'll get fired.

Who would you rather except Lafrenière? I'd pick Drysdale if I were LA... I mean, having Doughty as Drysdale's mentor should/could/would be AMAZING

If not Lafreniere, I want Drysdale, Perfetti, or Holtz. I have a fantasy of the Kings planning on acquiring both Sergachev and Deangelo which are both very doable without breaking the rebuild. That ain't Blake's style though. But if that did happen I'd rather draft Perffti or Holtz if not Lafreniere.

LA has the best prospects pool, hands down

You guys aren't feeling Tim Stutzle? I'd say he could be the biggest steal of the draft, especially if he goes 3rd or 4th overall

It's only because he's a center and the Kings have too many. Vilardi, Turcotte, and JAD coming up next season along with Kopitar and Lizotte already there.

How do you feel about Kupari, Walker, Grundestrom, Durzi, and Prokhorkin for Deangelo?

Don't know enough about them, but super excited to see them in the big leagues!
