Puljujarvi isn't playing with Edmonton. Granlund isn't an actual center, he's a winger. Doubt Halak leaves Boston unless they don't want to pay him

Overpay for Granlund. He scored just 30 points this year.

How do you know Jesse isn't playing in Edmonton? Is that 100% confirmed......by you.
If he doesn't want to come, he can play another year in Finland. Like is it really a big deal to add another 3rd line RW which is wear his projection is right now in the NHL

That is good, than i can save some more money. I was just going off of his goal count and what other people on this site are offering. How about 4 million?

He's scored 20+ just twice in his career and he hasn't been very good for the past 1.5 years. $4M x 3 would be a decent contract I think.

Perfect. Thanks. Just squeaked under the cap. I only watched him the last 20 games or so and he really was playing well during that time.

I really think the Oilers should go after Soderberg. That was a great add from you on your other post.

I like it. Granlaund would be a good “buy low” guy for Edmonton.

Soderberg has had 3 really respectable years in a row, I think he’ll ask for more

Nah I'd give him a 1 year, 4,5 mil deal

Money is going to be very tight this year. Dont think there will be a lot of big contracts going out. Value wise

no point in paying granlund 4 mill if your just gonna sign soderberg and why would you sign benning for three years, just trade him now and either put bouchard in his place or sign a cheap 3rd pairing rhd

I mean it just depends what the contracts going around are gonna look like. For example, last season, with these numbers a player like that could be signed high 3 million / low 4 million

I think you can allocate some of that benning money towards more for Bear and Soderberg

I think Bouchard needs more time. Benning can play another year here. Than we can trade him and his contract will not be bad once inflation goes up in another year

Not sure Benning will want to take a big discount from his already 1.9 million a year

It does save a chunk of money. I personally think Bouchard needs a little more time. But I could be wrong
