Montreal rejects. Only way I see them trading KK is if they get a first or second liner
Or a left handed top 4 dman

I have to put feelings aside for this one because I love the kid and he's so lovable. I mean Quinn or Wallinder with Bean who's a sure NHLer soon and Suzuki ... Imagine if Ryan ends up almost as good as Nick? The center depth could be settled for ever and the two other assets fulfill other needs.
Remove the 2nd coming back and it's a deal, to me he's not a bust (Just need time) but that's an excellent return there. Otherwise you could have our latest 2nd and the earliest 4th.

On the other hand I know it won't happen because he's the talk of the town here and pretty much untouchable because of his smile, yet is it a good reason to not trade him? If hockey's a business I take that deal even if it breaks my heart.

Yeah kotkaniemi is definitely not a bust, but if MTL were to trade him , I think this is a realistic return. Bean is an NHL caliber defenseman right now and he could probably slot in on MTL 2nd pairing sooner than later.

i'd say MTL accepts

Short term CAR wins and possibly long term to depending on how we develop the prospects and daft the pick as KK is deffinately still worthy of support in MTL.
But CAR sends Bean who can play at the AHL level another year or can come up today
Ryan Suzuki needs another 1-2 years atleast but like his brother has high upside although he's more of a Lars Eller responsible 3rd liner type while his brother excel's on PP he'll excell on PK
