To answer yes you’re stupid. No chance either team makes that trade. Chicago will keep cat and Strome and Columbus isn't trading Peeke, or Foudy. We need centers not a wing who needs to be carried by Kane to be effective. Also Columbus has no one on their roster close to the skill level of Kane.

DeBrincat and Strome are pretty good when they don't play with Kane; they were on a line with Carpenter (normally 4th-line center) earlier this season and put up a better xG% than when playing with Kane. But like you said, I don't think either team makes this trade.

I mean.. I love Peeke and Foudy has some potential but it's very possible he maxes out as a slightly offensively better Wennberg. But, you wouldnt trade those two? Even for good forwards?I saw someone a couple months ago say they wouldnt do those two for Ehlers which is just crazy to me.

Also, you say we need centers not wings... but Strome would instantly be our second best center.

Debrincat = Bjorkstrand
Strome = Texier
Koekkoek = Kukan
Korpisalo = Subban

That’s a rough estimate that neither fan base will 100% go with. But it’s in the ballpark.

What you’ve proposed here isn’t as close.

First two are fair but Kukan showed he is a very effective bottom four guy while Kookoo is probably not anything more than a 6/7 D. Korpis value is SO much higher than Subbans. Korpi was an all star last year, Subban is a below average backup

Koo Koo’s play was off the charts this year.

Subban and Korp were. both below average this year

I am a fan of both teams. Koo koo exceeded expectations during the second half but was still nothing more than a bottom pairing D man. And to compare Korpi and Subban is hilarious, Korpi was an all star and finished with a .911SV%. Subban is likely barely in the league now and finished with a .950SV%. Criticize the trade, I welcome that, but lumping those two together is very off.

Saying that Korpisalo was below average this year proves only one thing, and that is you don't watch/understand hockey at all.

DeBrincat > Bjorkstrand wtf

Screen-Shot-2020-04-05-at-10-26-49-AM

Over the last 2 seasons,

Points/60:
Debrincat - 2.18
Bjorkstrand - 2.17

The main difference is that Bjorkstrand has more goals and Debrincat has more secondary assists.
