Description

Dallas needs to improve their offense and cap space. Tatar, a 1st liner at 2.4, is a really good upgrade. Weal is a good 4th liner and is only there to take Cogliano/Comeau spots for at lower cap hit. Kulak-Oleksiak swap is cap-strategic for both teams because Dallas needs cap space for 20-21 and MTL for 21-22. Houde, Mcshane and Fonstad are ok prospects, but not in MTL plans. Dallas upgrades 2020 draft and MTL upgrades the 2021 and 2022 drafts and gets Dellandrea.

It's not NHL 20, a trade including 16 pieces, 10 players and 6 draft picks is more than impossible cmon man. Tatar (with retained salary) and 2nd (STL) and fonstad gets you your 1st 2020, Ty dellandrea, Jamie oleksiak and Andrew cogliano (half salary retained). Otherwise i dont see MTL interested in it and even then the only upside of loosing tatar (which is our better forward right now) while trying to make a spot in wild card for Price and weber in the next few years is Ty dellandrea and a prospect that we dont know is he'll one day play in the nhl.
