Trades
1.
ARI
  1. Dumba, Matt
Additional Details:
Dumba won't have to be the second fiddle to Spurgeon down in Arizona. Yes, Arizona has Soderstrom, but he's still a prospect and it will take time before he's able to prove he deserves a top pairing role.
2.
MIN
  1. Strome, Dylan [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
With the Wild lacking a young, talented top 6 center, Strome would certainly be an option if Chicago decides to move Dach to the middle where he belongs. Strome is a bit of a risk since he hasn't lived up to the hype yet, but Kevin Fiala is proof that some guys take a little longer to break out and reach their potential. Strome wouldn't have to outplay Dach and Toews to earn minutes, which could relieve some pressure and allow him to relax and play his game. The Wild would have two talented wingers for him to play with in Fiala and Kaprizov.
CHI
  1. Chychrun, Jakob
Additional Details:
Chicago gets a LD that can produce on the back end but is more defensively responsible than Gustafsson was for them. Chychrun would have more of an opportunity in Chicago without having to play behind OEL.

Imo MIN loses here, but it's not necessarily bad trade.

The W. Clark, S. Thomas and C. Lemeuix trade worked out well for the Avs.

The value is pretty even for these three. Centers come at a premium, so Strome will cost a bit more as was layed out here.

I t hink Chychrun has the most value out of anyone in this trade, so CHI definitely wins while also probably giving up the least.

Why not just swap Dumba and Strome? CHI needs RHD more than LHD imo. Arizona seems like the odd guy out here

Arizona are fine with OEL and Chychrun for their future LHD

I figured with Boqvist in the pipeline they might want a LD more than a RD, but they do have DeHaan, Keith, and Maatta so maybe adding a LD doesn't make much sense.
