We got kapenan, maybe barbanov for that but in general the leafs have forward depth for days

I'm not saying that this is a good trade proposal, but I'm not so sure that Johnson wouldn't want to come to LA. It's one of the only NHL cities that boasts weather better than Tampa, and the Kings are the team with the highest rated prospect pool in the NHL. It will be rough sledding for a year or two, but after that, the Kings will be on track to be one of the best teams in the league again. Johnson is of an age where he can be a major contributor to that team. I don't think he'd be as quick to say no as you suggest.

not that much on the right side, i prefer a jeff carter then engvall even tho engvall is doing pretty good
