That's the problem with having almost 40 mil tied up in 4 forwards... the leafs have 7,8 mil for depth at forward (Spezza 700K, Clifford 1,5 mil, Malgin 900K...) and fixing the d-core...

Malgin probably won’t be resigned. Getting a D will simply need trades

He forgot about sandin and liljegren who will be in the nhl next season. I dont think resigning Clifford will be a good idea when he will pretty much be a 12th forward when they should be running 11-7 anyways. Realistically they only need someone to play with rielly then they will be set
