- Mike Russo stated on the Athletic that he believes Koivu is leaning towards retirement

Buyout: Victor Rask
- Rask is a universal buyout candidate but MN can get through one more season of him being on the 4th line or scratched

- Goaltending situation will go the route of "wait and see", if goaltending is bad Stalock will likely be traded to open room for Kähkönen
- Forward situation will go the route of "wait and see", if there is an injury or a trade opens up Donato will get a top 12 spot

I would scratch Zuccarello before Donato without having to spend 1/2 a second thinking about it!

I'd rather the Wild bury, buyout, or trade Dubnyk if possible. Stalock is cheap and has better goals saved above expected than Dubnyk. Both are not great considering how good the Wild's defense is, but at least Stalock gave them a better chance. I think Chucky is more in the $3m range for a contract.
