      Is it tho?
      Rielly > Kelfbom
      Nurse ~= Hanifin
Larsson (overrated as all hell) > Ceci
      Bear ~= Dermott
      Marincin ~= Russell
Rosen ~= whoever the Oilers stuck as the 6th man.

You largely underrate Dermott. That is the value discrepancy. He is roughly equivalent to Bear.
And Marmar isn't any worse on his off side.

And you largely underestimate Matt Benning.
+ Bear is in his first season, already playing tougher minutes then Dermott and has been more successful when not playing on the top pair. Don’t even get me started with all the things wrong with Marincin’s game because he’s the epitome of a bad dman. Not to mention, the Oilers defense is actually a pretty well-rounded competent d-core when Klefbom isn’t injured and Kris Russell isn’t playing. It’s a pretty competent d-core. Marino, which you’ve made several references to would’ve been an Oiler if the Oilers didn’t have an actual prospect system with defense; Jones, Bear, Bouchard, Berglund, Broberg, Lagesson, Day, Kemp, and Kesselring.

I was considering this possibility but decided to leave it so that I could make the team like the Oilers have with one of their centres on the wing.

Well, there must be something the Oilers have done right since they’re pretty much in the same place as the Leafs in the standings without a bottom 6.

And here comes the typical laugh: laugh: the East is much stronger than the west.
