Fat chance city of Krug signing with the Blues, In reality they're going to have a tough time signing Pietrangelo. Let alone adding Krug as well. If Krug were to sign with St Louis you can easily add another $1 million on that deal.

I wish they can sign Krug and trade Faulk

Would rather buyout Faulk, save us more money and takes away the worry of paying Seattle to draft him next year. I also think Bozak gets more, especially of we retain. Overall not bad.

I think it'd take more to get Krug. If he leaves Boston, Detroit would be the favorite IMO and STL would need to outbid them.

No reason for Krug to have any interest in St Louis, If he doesn't sign with Boston he's probably heading home to Detroit. Even Sportsnet said that Krug homecoming to Detroit is a real possibility.

I like Krug but there’s no need for him right now. His best asset is the powerplay and the Blues have 4 guys + perunovich who can all run a PP at a high level.

You think there's even a chance they won't make sure Seattle drafts him next year if Petro resigns? Parayko, Petro, Dunn are going to get protected over him and he doesn't have a NMC. So either he gets to choose his team next year or he's going to be a Kraken(?)

so you want to buyout the guy u just signed to that massive deal what would that say about the organization. "We sign big contracts only to buy them out the same year". That is not a good image for any organization to follow. Sure krug would be a wonderful addition but remember faulk is playing his off wing and if pitrangelo does not come back the blues have the cap to build a good dcore for next season even without the captain.

Not sure why anyone would hate you for this, but ok. I say that thinking that Krug is not necessary/feasible. And yeah, all this buy Faulk out talk is silly. Not gonna happen, nor should it.
