As a Detroit fan I'd take the Detroit trade. If Cholowski isn't even in Detroits line up, you probably don't want him in your 2nd pair.

Defensively he hasn't progressed as quickly as expected then again Bertuzzi, Fabbri and Bernier are about players on the Wings that are doing better than last year. In an interview he said "They want me to be more aggressive on both sides of the ice." So who knows what happens I like him maybe he needs a change of scenery.
