You are 100% right as Crosby is the still the best player in the World and is still ahead of McDavid and he is the type of player that can transform a team with the talent of the Leafs into instant Stanley Cup winners. It would also be much better for the NHL to have Crosby playing in Toronto instead of Pittsburg to really restore the NHL fanbase after this lockdown as it may take years for attendance to come back to normal.

The game is fine. They will be playing next Oct as usual and everyone will be there to watch.
It doesn't help the league to put all the best players on one team. That's part of what killed the NBA. "super teams" where the rest of the league now knows their team sucks and isn't going to win so why bother watching. Distributing talent around the league is what is best for the league. That's why there is a salary cap. Otherwise NY teams would just buy championships every year like they do in baseball.
