The ducks have a crap load of center prospects. Their biggest need is right hand defense.

Also, Rakell's value drops with each year of this contract that passes. He is seeming more and more like a consistent 40 range point guy, or 2nd liner, than a top liner. The only thing that drives his value is that gem of a contract.

Well I mean... I'd take Newhook in a heartbeat as well lol, he absolutely lit up the NCAA this yr, comparably to Zegras (yes in all likelihood it would be based around Timmins tho, particularly for a not that cap strapped COL team where Raks contract doesn't boost his value as much for them)

Take out the Vlads and put Timmins in, Mentioned above was Newhook ,I think that'd be too much to give for Rakell, unless maybe a 1 for 1, Timmins and a late 1st makes sense in my eyes for Rakell (On draft day)

But as mentioned above his value gets lower and lower the longer that contract is ticking away disagree with the 40pt Valuation @Wqrrior made, but I agree with the rest of what he said, he was on pace for 52 points on a bad Ducks team where he was the focus to shut down every night. Put him on a team like COL and he hits 65 a year for fun
