now this proposal is very interesting to me. I like Mete, instantly our #2 LD, I think Domi is a wild card. Part of the reason I think the Hawks would trade Strome is because of the cap not rising so obviously this does not help with that goal but I feel if this was made available they definitely find a way to move Smith and Maatta and De Haan.

I would not be happy if I saw this trade tomorrow, Beaudin played in one game for us this season and he looked like he could become a really really good player. (I don’t want to say top 2 D based on one game, but he certainly could develop into that one day)

I think Domi for Strome is interesting, but I'm not sure I see Domi as a center, or necessarily as a guy who can play in an already small second line in Chicago.

Mete is good, but we’re already crowded on LD, the pick upgrade is nice but this is just a classic “go with your gut and keep your player/prospect for me”
