I know the deal is unrealistic but I just want to know if the value is fair

Team: 2020-21 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 7, 2020
Published: Apr. 7, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Of course TOR would have less goal scoring potential. That being said, I'm really curious to see what Barabanov could bring to the team, Stepan improves the PK (TOR desperately need a C that can play a ton of minutes there) and Jones can play 25+ minutes a game and is good at everything.

I honestly could see a deal like this happening if WSH uses their CBO on Oshie, they'd get a young mid 6 forward who could score 20 next season

so, the leafs basically throw in liljegren and the difference between a 2nd and 4th for the privilege of buying Wennberg out?
no, this is not good value

and signed for only 2 more years. he's totally going to bolt for home when those 2 years are up and then the leafs will be left with NOTHING! oh wait that only applies to Matthews for some reason. Ok, so the leafs get 2 more years of value then Dubas signs Jones to a market level deal and fans spend every waking moment trying to trade him out on armchair GM because he makes more than Hedman or whoever.

aaaaaannyways. Mitch Marner and Seth Jones are a wash value wise, yes, even with the contracts
