Description
I based this off there level of play as well as the potential they still have.
Yes I know Kyle Connor has more points than Laine this year but I feel like Laine made some good strides in his overall game. He still has the most raw potential on the jets for sure in my opinion. Ehlers is very underrated and has been the jets best forward overall this year and I wouldn't be surprised if he puts together a point per game season soon. Josh Morrissey is easily the jets best defenceman and was held back due to the overall terrible d-core he was apart of all year. He should get back to the elite defensive play next year. Kyle Connor is so skilled. He has amazing raw talent but for him to move up I would like to see him improve in his own zone as he is actually one of the worst defensive forwards in the league. I think Ville Heinola has top paring potential. He is very smart and silky smooth with the puck. All he needs to do is get bigger. For the most part the rest was just potential rankings.

No he isn't. Yeah he has more points but Ehlers drives play and plays defense. He does more overall to win games than Connor does.

His stats don't show much to me and when I watch Connor and Ehlers, Connor stands out more but your a jets fan so he probably is better
But Connor is a much better goal scorer

oh not denying that Connor definitely has more shooting talent. He really gets pulled along by Scheifele and Wheeler though. Ehlers does alot for his line

Ehlers does more overall. Yeah he has less points but Connor plays way more on the power play and gets carried by Scheifele and Wheeler. Ehlers drives play, plays good defense, and finishes. If you put Ehlers on the top powerplay he would have the same amount of points maybe more than Connor. The only edge Connor has is raw shooting talent, and even that's close I would argue.

Pretty sure I heard somewhere that Ehlers is the Jets top 5v5 scorer and their top scorer per ice time, does anyone know if that's true?

I'm a huge Ehlers fan but idk if I'd rank him higher then Connor, that being said I do think Ehlers has been the Jets best forward this season, it's really too bad about the Little injury, an Ehlers-Little-Wheeler line would of been great but who am I kidding, if Little doesn't get hurt Wheeler and Scheifele don't get split up.

He has been the best forward this year. His 5v5 production as a whole (points, chances etc.) is way better than anyone else this year on the jets

Laine, Connor and Ehlers are very similar in rankings but why its so hard to judge is that all three have different skill sets. It really comes down to preference.

Laine is a power F who plays hard in the corners and can pass and shoot with the best of them, Ehlers is a fast and skilled player who gets points playing from the 1st line to the 3rd line with hardly any PP time and Connor is a great all around player who can score in all different ways and has insane chemistry with the top 2 players on the team in Scheifs and Wheels so that helps his point totals.
