bruins fans have too much faith in Coyle.

He's nothing more than an overpaid 3rd liner.

Krejci will stay.

Toffoli is overpaid at this price. Wanted him but with Kase and if a team indeed pays him that, forget that. No thanks Granlund. Bruins need a spot for Studnicka/Kuhlman.

Halak will leave.

B's can get DeBrusk for couple less $100Ks. Krug, $1M less and can't be signed to an eight-year deal.

Get rid of Ritchie

You don't watch him play, that's why. Since coming to Boston, he's been the perfect fit for our 3C spot. Can shoot the puck (and literally the only one that can do it in shootout on this team), set up his teammates, reliable defensively, play in any situation. Puck-protection monster. Only thing is that he doesn't have as much points as he should. Okay, maybe on this kind of deal, he should have at $4,75M or around that but if he keeps playing the way he is, that's a good deal for both sides. Especially, since the cap will go up in the upcoming years and guys like Kevin Hayes make $7,14M... And when Krejci will be gone, he will be 2C so

Watch him play couple of games before

Well, you pretty much just explained that he is a third liner that is paid too much.

My point is that he shouldn't be the team's next 2nd line center. He is best as a third liner with a more defensive role. I see him more as a 4.5M - 4.75M (as you said) guy, 750K isn't drastic per-se, but given the length of 6 years... yikes.

Krug gets about 1 million less
Halak is going for at least 4 million so they wont get him
They wont use the CBO on krejci, hes a good center with one year left.

Good Moore trade
Good deals overall! (Griz and Debrusk go more years at that money though)

Overall: decent job.

$500K lol it's not like it's Matt Beleskey/$3,8M or David Backes/$6M or John Moore/$2,75M who ARE overpaid.

I will take that, especially with all money saved on 63 and 88 deals wink
