The laughs have cap issues why would they want SEABS at this point for another 4 yrs ? Defence is worse then this year . Goaltending is worse not improved . No checking or dplay whatsoever on that second line CAT ( 5 ft 7 , Marner 5 ft 9 ) that is one very small and soft 2nd line . Three ten plus million contracts on team is not doable not with a flat cap there is no cap room to resign ( what happens when DACH, STROME , KUBALIK . SAAD need new contracts , no future space to add depth or improve . I f toronto does not win in next two yrs ( they are not even close ) they are totally screwed . Signing Tavares was the worst thing Toronto could have done 3 x 10 plus mil contracts on one team just does not work period
