    Well done except for Khaira
I have put Grigorenko on a couple of my create a team for the Oilers. He has had a good year with Slepy
Is Tkachev's contract finished with Petersburg yet? That would have the making of a good line, except i think Grigorenko didnt play much center this year in the KHL.

Now that I am looking at Tkachev, it looks like he signed a two year extension this year. I'm sure there's probably some kind of NHL opt-out clause though. Grigorenko to me plays a very versatile game, so while he has not played very much games at centre this year, I'm sure he could adapt. Khaira is only here because he's important on the PK.

That sucks about Tkachev, i always like that guy. Omark is killing it in the playoffs this year in the KHL
Khaira stats on 5 on 5 are so bad, they out weigh his PK time and I think the stats show that he is the 5th best PK player on the Oilers
But minus Tkachev, you should be able to get someone like Soderberg or someone like that

I almost think Haula is the best fit, he's a natural C, has speed still and is good at face-offs. He'd actually fit this bottom 6 nearly perfectly.

Totally agree, but people say he wants 4.5 to 5 million which is way to much money IMO

People are crazy if they think he's getting that. Obviously he's a good two-way forward but his offensive stats are mediocre and the guy hasn't been healthy. I'd assume he'd get something more in the range of Brassard.

I did my thread with Haula getting 2.5 and I got totally slammed for that. so even if i am off by 500k and its 3 million. I think that is fair for him. They say at EW Hockey Haula getting 4.3M x 4yrs next year
    Like yikes that is crazy

Oilers had the 2nd best pk of the league this season
Kharia was the 5/6 best pker the oilers had so if you get rid of him the damage is little

I mean EW also said Craig Smith and Valeri Nichushkin are ahead of Draisaitl in the hart conversation. So at this point I take everything they say with a grain of salt.
    Copenhagen liked this.

Oh boy Tkachev.. what a blunder that was back in the day. Was a shame too he looked good during that training camp.
