I firmly believe that Galchenyuk is a whole lot better than Athanasiou, Pietrangelo better than Larsson on both ends of the ice, Jones has evolved his game therefore Klefbom's contract can be put to another team, we all know the Kris Russell and James Neal thing, dont have much belief in Kassian or Chaisson, didn't ever become a fan of Benning, Skinner and Wells are not evolving their game so we can get more out of them now before they get stuck in the minors, been a life long Oilers fan, don't hate them, they just have to put belief in better players rather than just looking for a sale tag on trades

Denezhkin is not anywhere close to ready, we might never see him come across the pond.

The Rasanen ship has sailed. He played 3RW this year and they drafted him as a C. He is not coming over for a few years, if at all. Too slow and didn't develop properly in the NCAA.

We have to wait at least another year for Konovalov, due to his KHL contract, otherwise he'd be in the org by now.

I don’t disagree about Kassian, Russell and Neal but I don’t think I can watch another game of a team hemming Sheahan and Archibald in their own end. Overall the team is pretty much the same defensively too, I’m not convinced Jones is a top 4 dman and Nurse is definitely not a top 2. In fact I’d trade Nurse 10 times out of 10 over Klefbom.

Ceci, no thanks, Benning is better. Galchenyuk, no thanks, I'd rather get Maroon back for 1LW.

That's a really expensive 4th line, not ideal.

If you are paying that much you'd want a bit more offense out of them.

Every play you mentioned is not in my lineup for obvious reasons, but they will grow and become good players, and it's still way to early to judge Rasanen's development, Maroon is slow, there's alot of slow skaters in the league, Denezhkin will come, had a slow start in Russia last year but his last half was great I'd say, Konovalov, yeah I understand he's got one more year to his contract but he will come over, but yeah, all these guys aren't in the line up for obvious reasons

First off Galchenyuk blows, that is why he is getting passed around like a hot potato. Give Tippett a little time to work his magic on AA.
Second, you are one injury away from the Oilers icing not enough people on the team. It is nothing for 3 guys to be injured at the same time. Look at this years example.
Third our defense are rolling right now and are not the oilers problem at all. Larsson is back to being a stud.
Fourth I doubt if PoolParty is coming back
Fifth the 3rd line is a big problem and should be the 4th line, so you havnt addressed our 3rd line properly. Khaira/Girgensons/Nash We need a much better 3rd line center, which has been talked about all last year.
Sixth Dansk is not even good enough for the AHL and now you want him to play 30 or 40 games for the Oilers, you seen Koskinen after playing to much last year. Sucked balls
Seventh Yes Benning is way better than Ceci, in fact Ceci would not even make the OIlers roster this year

If Crosby can't make Galchenyuk better, what makes you think McDavid will? Also, what makes you think signing duds like Galchenyuk and JP and playing them on the top line with McDavid is a good move for Holland to make? Signing defensive suicide bombers Ceci and Edmundson to 3.5M let alone signing them in general is downgrading the current blueline completely. Their top 4 is fine as is. Petro doesn't make sense and the last thing the Oilers need is a 4th liner making almost 3M.

Zero chance that Petro signs Edmonton, And also fat chance if you honestly think that Ken Holland is capable of making those deals. 26 years in Detroit says otherwise.
