"Light me up Leaf fans". Gee. it's the Rangers/OIlers fans that might. How is does Matthews fit into the Rangers cap. Johnsson trade value is no where near a mid round first

Ranger fan...

I don't hate it (minus the retention - that doesn't happen). Matthews is the best player in the trade, clearly. But i struggle thinking they accept. It does not make the Rangers a better team overall, especially with the emergence of Zib over the past 2 seasons and the fact that Fox is going to be a bonafide #1 Dman. However, I understand the trade because the Rangers can clearly deal from a position of strength since they already have Trouba and ADA. My struggle is that Fox is and will be better than Trouba and ADA...

This is a tough one.

How about McKinnon and Makar?

Come on, please be realistic. McKinnon maybe older, but he is on a terrific contract, is a leader on his team and is a true #1 center in the league.
