I think the 4th line might be better as the 3rd scoring line with Little at centre and DeMelo should be with Morrissey, but the rest looks good. Probably could get Eakin to sign for less than his previous contract.

And for Samberg, he’s NHL ready.

Not bad, I could see Samberg up with the big club most of the year. Some of the signings in my opinion are over-pays...I wouldn't mind bringing Eakin back if there are no other options but it would cost much less than that. I think Letestu is done and we have better options. I also really like the way Beaulieu has played and I believe they bring him back. He will also be way cheaper than Dillon. IF Samberg isn't ready and we don't bring back Beaulieu, I think Edmundson would be a guy the Jets target. MB boy and would be excellent paired with a smaller Pionk.

On defence my pairings looked like this:

Morrissey - DeMelo
Samberg - Pionk
Beaulieu - Poolman

I agree, could probably even drop Appleton to the Little line and move Harkins to the Lowry line. I put Dillion and Demelo together because I believe they used to play together in San Jose. I see though I put them on the wrong side.

Yeah, I don't know about that Eakin contract. I feel like that will not age well, he's not really a 2C. He did fit in pretty well for a few games there, but he's not an answer long term. Otherwise it looks good though.

Instead of Eakin. I suggest signing Soderberg for 1 year at a bit more salary, you can afford it especially if you CBO Little

I wouldn't buy out Little. He has had a rough couple of years but I think he is a decent player and has shown the ability to put up points when he has consistent line mates. I don't know too much about Eakins, he could be a declining sign, so maybe I was a little high on the dollar value. I really liked his defensive game playing with Laine and Ehlers. In my opinion, that line could flourish with the offensive skills of those 2 and allowing them to take risk knowing that Eakins will be the guy covering back.

I like that, if he wanted a one year deal. Then there's still room for Laine/Pionk raises in another year

I like Eakin, but closer to 2 million for 1 year. Either way re-signing Eakin or Soderberg helps the jets C depth especially if Little is CBO or retires. I would keep Matty P for one more year. I know his contact doesn't add up to his production, but he is a glue guy and, from all accounts, a great guy in the locker room. These things do matter
