Another possible scenario for canucks part 1

Description
Part 1 2020 off season
Let's start with the buyouts. It's all B's across the board as benn, beagle and baertschi are bought out.
This allows a little more wiggle room for the Canucks to sign some much needed contracts.
The one trade they make is more of a cash dump..
Sutter needs a new change of scenery, he still has some gas left in the tank..and is a good 3rd line guy with some grit..gaudette is a good established 3rd line center..but unfortunately for the Canucks that's all he will ever be, with pettersson and horvat..the Canucks dont have a need to try and sign gaudette and macEwen..and macEwen can play on the wing as well, so a little more flexibility. I think he will be a good 2/3 line guy for anaheim..and the 3rd round pick coming back seems like a fairy decent return for these 2 guys going the opposite direction.
My UFA signings of
Markstrom
Toffoli
Leivo
Barrie
Marky isnt going anywhere..at the end of the day hes there #1..they seen what demko and dipeitro did while he was gone out on injury and know they need him..he will want more than 5 mil to stay, but when the canucks explain there game plan and what they are trying to get done, I think he is content on taking a lower pay to stay.
Toffoli made an impact, instant chemistry with Pearson again and can slide up or down the top 2 lines..Canucks will not want him to go, I think the term and salary are right in line with the other top 6..I cant see him commanding more than this to stay with canucks. Josh leivo is still improving.. his injury last season didnt give the Canucks to fully evaluate him to see what hes fully capable of..I think they give him a 1 year show us more deal..but still feel he has something more to show them
Canucks wanted Barrie at the deadline, but couldn't put a package togther enough for the leafs to bite, they didnt want to give up to much, knowing they would have a shot to sign him in the summer..I think he takes a bit of a home town discount to go to canucks..and they get a decent 2nd pairing d man to bolster the top 4.

RFA SIGNINGS
Virtanen
Motte
Stecher
macEwen
Tryamkin

Virtanen came into a bit of his own last season, still improving but the canucks have worked hard with him and will continue to get better
Many people thought stecher would be traded at the deadline, but the Canucks like the progress he's made and steady play..hes a good 3rd pair guy and he gets a bit of a raise in the process...they could have resigned taney but for what he would have wanted and the level of play and injury..I think they get a bit of more reliability with stecher. macEwen was explained previously. Motte is just a fill in, reliable guy..fill the void for a year, until guys like hoglander, podkolzin are ready for fulltime. Tryamkin gets a 1 year show me deal..see how much hes improved in the KHL and see if he is ready to be a fulltime NHL defenceman.
Ferland attempts a comeback but suffered more setbacks and is pretty well about finished with his career..canucks can put him on LTIR until he retires.

I can definitely see that you put in a lot of effort into this ACGM. But I have to ask: What capspace do you use to resign Hughes and Petterson in 2021? You've already tied up 61 Mil in only 12 players and if we assume around 20 Mil to resign both on longterm deals (which should be their prority) you're already done.

Vancouver shouldn't be a big player in 2020's UFA class.

I really dont think there will be a compliance buyout.. and i think the cap will stay the same as it now.
