I'm confused. Why did you give Mete 4.6 mil and Domi 4.1 mil. Also, Romanov will only accept 925k. NYI accepts and thanks Berge for giving them a great deal on Barzal.

I don't understand why people think Barzal is worth that much cap space. At that money his cap comparables would be Artemi Panarin, Auston Matthews, John Tavares, Patrick Kane, and Mitch Marner, and he's not even a Point per Game player this and is putting up points at the pace of David Perron, Ryan Strome, and Willie Nylander, all of whom are making about half of that contract. Sure he's young and will probably grow into that contract but that's not for certain and if he doesn't your going to be looking at that in five years and cursing the useless cap space. But if he does continue to grow that would be his number but he's not there yet.

Barzal offer sheet is a joke, Lou already stated numerous times that he'll match any offer sheet on Matt Barzal.

Why are you comparing $M9.6 to guys who have $M11+ ?

And why does Mete deserve a 6 year deal?

OOPS I was looking at the AAV number. Thanks for pointing that out. 9 million is closer to the mark.
