Chicago is going to need to replace some aging D men soon, how about Murray in place of Jenner, and maybe higher rated prospect such as Milano or Anderson rather than Bittner.
If you hold firm, I totally understand. The rub is, Jenner will be due a huge contract in the near future as well.

Also, why sign Sharp for $5 million after trading Panarin? Panarin will not be any higher than $7 million and he is going to be more influential than Sharp/Jenner/Bittner.

Coming from a Sabres fan, Panarin is way more valuable than what you have traded him away for. Just sayin'.shakes head

If I could somehow take a giant dump on this to show my annoyance with how stupid it is, I would have done so 25 keystrokes ago.

You're high if you think Panarin is worth less than 7 mill. He can easily get tarasenko money.

[Also, also, if they want Sharpie at a 900K discount, why did they trade him in the first place? (Shoulda kept Sharp and Johns, and sent Seabrook to Big D for a year with "an agreement" to sign him again.).]

As soon as Chicago asks for Jenner, they hear the dial tone.

I usually think you've got some good points, but this is really showing some bias. panarin has NOT shown he's good enough for Tarasenko money. Kane is the driver of that line making everyone else better. Tarasenko is the driver of his. It's been 1 year so far. Let him repeat that performance with out Kane. Maybe panarin anisimov hossa and still top ten.... Then I'd agree, but he hasn't had the opportunity yet.

If Panarin finishes with over 70 points again this season then he may get Tarasanko money. But it highly doubt that occurs.
