Description

Foligno has another off year. CBJ convinces him to waive his no movement clause for the expansion draft under the premise that he wouldn't be drafted based on his contract and the poor showing last 2 years. But he IS selected by the Las Vegas Crapshooters (how's that for a name). Mr Heinke the mascot?
The Hartnell trade would free up over $2m for Blues to resign Shattenkirk. Stasny is low risk given he has only 1 year remaining on his contract.

The only true #1C CBJ had in 15 years was chased outa town (Johanssen). Dubi was never a #1. Stasny is a short term fix and hoping Wennberg figures it out in his 3rd full year. Maybe the CBJ will actually win the lottery and and get a franchise center. Or maybe learn to scout a little better.
