I’m biased so I shouldn’t be able to vote, but Thomas has more points in 200 less minutes and hasn’t had the powerplay deployment Suzuki has. Both players look like they’re gonna be pretty high-end defensively as well.

I'm going with Thomas, but it his second year (although same age) and he plays for a better team. I think Suzuki will be better but the gap won't be big between these two.

Both will be great players. I’m biased and have to say Suzuki, he put up equal numbers in his first season playing on a non contending team. I don’t know exactly what role Thomas was playing so I can’t accurately compare but I will chime in for Suzuki and say that he got better and better game after game. Julien is not one to play rookies in roles like he did for Suzuki. He earned the trust of his coach to play in all situations. Can’t wait to watch him further develop. By no means knocking Thomas though that’s for sure, the few times I’ve seen him play I was impressed.
