Why not play Siegenthaler? He seems pretty good and promising, great DFD.

True the more I thought about it he should it's his spot to lose which he could if young guys play better

The only LHD the Caps would be signing would be Brenden Dillon. If the Caps can't sign him, then there's Fehervary (who looked really promising in limited NHL action this season) who could jump up to the NHL. Lucas Johansen has shown nothing at the AHL level that would make him a candidate for making the NHL anytime soon. He's looking like a bust.

hagelin can go anywhere and be decent so it just happens to be NJ in this but he could go anywhere just needs to not be in Washington
