Most likely a career depth/3rd pairing guy, can provide some offence. Has some size. Not much to not like.

Half baked player who went to a half baked program that some idiot on a penguins blog will prop up for click bait because some other idiot will read it.

Don't get me wrong, I don't wish the guy any ill will. But as far as coming out the NCAA, you don't go to RPI because you are "talented".
If this is the fail safe option to the 3RHD problem the penguins have big issues.

What're the chances that you thought John Marino was half baked as well?

This is no way shape or form this can be seen as a bad move by the Pens. Worst case scenario, he's still good enough to play regular minutes in WBS @ 22/23 years old.

No all 50 need to be, nor ever will be, potential NHLers.
