in this world. He's not worth more than mackinnon, certainly not this much more, but the difference between the two isn't all that big and is slowly shrinking

Mackinnon looked like a bust up until 3 years ago. Lets be honest nobody was high on him including avs fans

Vancouver says no. Hughes hasn't hit his ceiling yet and has a lot more contract control than rielly does. Also, while performance value between Matthews and Mackinnon may not be too large, Matthews is getting paid twice as much so thats a big turn off for Colorado and their ability to sign their young guys like Makar and Graves and eventually byram and newhook to contracts

VAN and AVS decline for sure. Stamkos is not waiving for the Leafs. Coyotes decline as well. Panarin is not waiving either.
