What on earth has Gus done to earn twice what TVR is? Gus won't get over $1 mil. Likewise, Panarin will be way more than that. Also no backup goalie. Cap will also be higher.

Ok you're right with Gus, but Panarin has only had one year in the league and is riding Kane's coat tails. Don't know how much the cap will go up. Just an exercise

Still. Panarin will not be a penny under $6 million. No way.

Here's my biggest issue with this... You are trying to make an 18-19 season fit into this year's salary cap figure, which is asinine. And don't be surprised if Marian Hossa is still skating and playing better than a lot of others you have signed here, like McNeil (who I doubt will even be around after this year) and Panik. Hossa may have had an off year, and yes he's getting old, but he is FAR from done.

Why, on god's green earth, would you even CONSIDER continuing to give Mash contracts? He sucks. He's useless. He can't even Fucking enforce. If the universe is fair, Tootoo see's Mash shuttled down to Rockford and may he never come back.

I understand your desire to give Gus a big contract. He started out last year amazingly well. Then god knows what happened, and he became afraid of his own shadow. I don't think he plays much at all this year in Chicago, with Rozy being resigned to give Kempny a language friend, and TVR still around. So Gus will have to mount a monumental comeback season, and start looking better than one Nick Leddy looked in his second year, and he probably won't even sniff more than 10 games.

Also, WALaxer19 is absolutely correct, Panarin is going to get north of 7 million, at least.

Panarin won't get north of 7 million unless he produces like he did last year without Kane by his side. Which likely won't be the case.
