losing Barbie would be painful but, I'm not hating this at all. I'd have a new respect for SJ

I have thought about this. Bottom six is amazing but I have seen a lot worse. Really solid down the middle tho

Yeah, I think this works out nicely for both teams

St. Louis gets a solid 3rd line LW, a 2nd round pick in whats projected to be a very solid draft, and a 3rd round pick

We get a solid 3rd line C, a decent middle 6 center who we're hoping could have a bounce back season, and a decent goalie who could push Jones and start if need be

San Jose has decent goaltending, decent defense, a solid top 6, and a great center core. The only glaring weakness is our 3rd line wingers but they're both young and still improving.

I agree.

great center core, solid top 6, and decent 4th line wingers.

3rd line wingers aren't great, but not horrible. Gregor is probably best suited for the 4th line, while Gambrell as a 3rd line RW isn't horrible, but not great either.

Agreed, but if that's what it takes to keep Pietrangelo I think the most painful bit is still being grateful to SJ

The Scandella trade made it harder, but he's not toast. This trade definitely helps them.

Can't believe SJ has the cap space to make this work.. Lol

Bozak is probably more of a 3C at this point.

Maybe, but he's great at faceoffs and hopefully could somewhat bounce back playing with 2 solid wingers.
