Smoke and mirrors tears of joy

Faulk's extension was bad on day 1. I doubt any GM would buy out a contract he gave out before it starts so we can rule out this actually happening, but it doesn't mean it's not the correct move.

So you are going to pay Detroit a 2020 1st round pick (STL) and 2020 5th round pick (CAR) for 1yr of Steen and only taking a 2020 6th round pick (DET)? As a Detroit fan it's no brainer YES! I just can't see Armstrong giving up that much to move Steen for a season.

You'd be far better off if you CBO Steen and trade Faulk. It just let Pietrangelo walk and use the cap savings somewhere else.

    (Bozak as your 2C? Ouch!)

I see your point but if your willing to loose your captain just to keep a certain pride then i don’t see why he can be a GM. I don’t think Faulk would ever be better than Pietrangelo so i don’t see why he shouldn’t take the risk of CBO him
