So Debrincat to Pittsburgh for Strome & POJ? I don’t think Chicago does it.

Detroit declines. Since winning the cup Murray 30th in GAA and 32nd in SV%. Now maybe Detroit trades Bowey but Tuomisto isn't going anywhere. The only way Yzerman trades that 2nd round pick is for something really big.

I get that on Tuomisto but that EDM 2nd doesn't look to be anything special considering they are getting a starting goalie with a couple of Cups when they have NO goaltending to speak of. I'd be willing to add within reason, what you looking for?

Add one of Poulin / Hallander & 2022 1st, maybe they consider it. I still doubt it. Debrincat is a 40 goal scorer like Jake.

If either of those three are added, a little something minor needs to come back. Lets say they add Poulin and CHI adds Jake Ryczek and a 3rd.

Didnt even mention DeBrincat can actually drove his line and potted 77pts while Guentzel was a 30pt player without Crosby and Malkin on top of being a lot younger.

No there isnt at all you are trading a 22 yeardold 40 goal scorer that can actually drive a line (unlike Jake) for an undersized Dmen that cant even dominate the Q in his draft +3 season. Poulin, Hallinder plus 2 firsts is the bare minimum..

DeBrink has never scored more than 76 points in the NHL and JG has never scored less than 33 points in any season (even partial) so yeah...move along.

And then followed the 76 point season with 45 points in 70 games while Guentzel had 43 points in 39 games

Gonna push back on you a bit there...Debrincat has spent about half of his career next to Toews or Kane.

Cat's shooting talent is off the charts, but so is Guentzel's.

Guentzel has better numbers when it comes to shot generation, but a lot of that has to do with Pitt simply having possession a lot more.

I'd give a slight edge to Debrincat, but it's in the ballpark honestly.

I have no stake in this argument. But looking at how Zucker's numbers shot up in Pitt, it's not ridiculous to think that Debrincat would have a similar bump and vice versa with Guentzel.

77 instead of 76 that is your big counter? Still besides the point that Guentzel struggled in 2018 when he didnt have Crosby to hold his hand to help him. He is not even a 25 goal scorer away from Sid/Geno. All the while being worse than DeBrincat since his rookie year. There isnt anything that makes Chi do this trade delete your account so you can stop plaguing this board with your low intelligence.

And yet he is still the worse of the 2 for their last 3 seasons. Guentzel needed Sid to hit 40 DeBrincat hit 40 being the best player on his line. Guentzel is also already 26 he isnt going to get any better while Cat is 22.

DeBrincat never spent significant time with Kane. 2018 they never saw a shift

2019 He was with Strome and Perlini for the vast majority of the season.

Thats one of the dumbest things I ever read. A guy who is in his 3rd full season isn't going to get better because hes 26? And if Guentzel only scored 40 because of Crosby, why is their other lineman, Dom Simon, unable to score 10? And what about this year without Crosby. He was on pace to have another 40 goal year. Let me guess, it was because of Malkin right? Plus its funny how youre saying Guentzel only scored 40 because of Sid, but look what happened when Cat isn't on a line with any HOF'ers
