Description
I don’t know if this would work out. The expansion draft is coming up plus the Heiskanen extension which is gonna be something close to Chabot. They’re
Going to have to move one of Klingberg or Lindell next offseason to be able to make it work. I think if they can move Klingberg in the offseason of 21-22, let Harley come in and produce some of the missing offense on the backend, it could work. Curious to see what y’all think?

Does Heiskanen play the right side? Cuz trading Klingberg for Ehlers, CBO Jamie Benn, sign Pietrangelo would look pretty darn good

Faksa should get a second, he's really good defensively and above average 3C

He can yes. I was thinking something maybe of Lindell-Heiskanen and Harley-Pietrangelo? And I also like the Klingberg for Ehlers idea. Although I think they can get a bigger player for Klingberg + trading within the division probably isn’t good

He only has 2 years left on his deal so not sure what they can get for him

I agree and the same could be said for Bozak, but much of what I read on here says he's not worth a 2nd. Both are "glue" pieces needed for a winning team.

I'd be shocked if Winnipeg moved Ehlers to a rival. The same could be said for Klingberg.

Yeah if I’m Dallas or Winnipeg I don’t entertain that offer at all

I agree with you, and it is likely both g.m.s do too. It's too bad that rivals don't trade much, because I'd love Klingberg on the Blues.

Yeah that’s tricky cause I don’t think there’s a match there anyways. Stars would probably ask Tarasenko but I’m fairly confident STL would decline. DAL would likely have to add on that but I don’t think it’s too far off. Tarasenko is too high of an ask but than I feel like Schenn is too low of an ask

I think the two of us are just farting in the wind, McFaksa. No way Blues move Tarasenko to Dallas. No way Dallas lets a stud RHD go to St. Louis. The Blues wouldn't have cap room for him either. Would the Stars be willing to take Faulk for Klingberg? (That comes with a wink. I know the answer.)

If I did, I'd use it to get some seats at a Dallas game. I was born in St. Louis, but when I was 6 months old, my parents went to school in Ft. Worth. I spent the next 8 years in Texas before we moved back home. I never hear the end of it since I'm a Cowboy fan. I'd love to see a game or two in Dallas. Both of my sisters are Texans. It'd be fun.
