Description

Important Points:

1. K Russell’s and Chiassons contract is up next year +6 mil.

2. That still won’t be enough to resign both Nuge and Yamo to long term deals. Have to rely on Neal going to Seattle freeing up +6 mil. Letting go Neal and Chiasson, you have to sign a body in front of the net as well.

3. You can also look at Larsson to get the cap hit you need, if he underperforms, worse is to let him go, or sign an extension and work a trade heading into the next year. I still firmly believe Larsson is an integral part of the team if they wanna win a cup.

Benson isnt even good enough for the NHL and you have him on the first line

I don’t know any player that can replace his PK abilities so I just resigned him. Plus as you can see he’s just the 14th forward. I know Kenny can find a better replacement than I do.

Ennis can but I think Benson gonna crack the first line after 15-20 games. He had a reasonable call up and could’ve had 5 points out of those 7. He could’ve stayed on the third line but Tip knows he’s deserving of the first. That we’ll see in time.
