Yeah it may be, saw the trade idea in another thread and copied it, I feel like a team may give up a 2nd possibly, at the least a third, that’s why I didn’t add a prospect for that second

I think a 3rd on its own is likely the max

I think his value is a second if WE add a little something. Imagine something like Larsson and Antoine Morand to Montreal for one of their top two seconds.

If we indeed landed Colorado's first, I would love to do something with two of those three later picks to move up to about #16 overall. I'd prefer to have Braden Schneider or Helge Grans to any two of the guys you have at #29, #31 and #36. But then again, I'm RhD-fixated.

@Salzy So we trade Rakell for the 29th pick? I thought you were against that. That said I don't know Timmins too well other than he's a rhd. Also as somebody who's not big on Holtz or Raymond why them over Rossi or Perfetti? I know the two I mention are centers but that can always change. Good post tho.

I think you have a really solid chance to land Grans in the 29-36 range.

Idk, man. Morand doesn't do much to up that return imo. Didn't show much growth production wise in his D +1 or +2 years and this past year wasn't anything to write home about. As for Larsson... I just don't think he's very good, personally. Some people will disagree and that's fine, but I'm just not high on him. I've been told he was tied to Holzer for a fair chunk of the season, so I'd give him some extra credit there, but not 'early 2nd round pick' extra credit. Montreal's LD situation is also a bit blown out of proportion. Their depth at the position is actually pretty okay. They just need a higher end guy to allow their other LD's to play where they should be. Chiariot, Kulak, Mete... I'm just not sure Larsson unseats any of those guys. Lot's of Canadiens fans also think Romanov will see time next year... I just don't see MTL doing it.

Thats fair, I decided against trying tom trade up in the ACGM for sake of simplicity, but I would be on board with it because I prefer Grans as well just doubt he'll be there at 29 or 31. I'm a big fan of Niemela as an RD if we can't get Grans and if we were to add Timmins I would be a big fan of our depth at RD for now

Timmins is the main piece of the deal imo, Great potential I would rank him as an A- Prospect myself in a quick grade, the 29th OA is a bonus.

Thats actually funny you put it that way because I'm not high on Rossi or Perfetti tears of joy I mean I think it will be hard to go wrong at 6 OA so any of the 4 would be fine with me, I chose Holtz because I believe hes the best goal scorer in the draft

@Salzy Fair enough. Id do that trade.
Im not big on Perfetti but I like Rossi's grit. That said, I choose Holtz over Raymond everyday. Raymond reminds me of A. Nylander so much Im too scared to pick him. If we aren't in the top 3 it goes Drysdale, Rossi and Holtz for me.

In my ranking swap Holtz and Rossi but close enough, I assumed a top 4 of Laf, Byfield, Stutzle, Drysdale before making this
