I don't think he will but I wouldn't do that trade either. We saw how Fleury developed after his 1st pro season and I want to see more of Poehling before even thinking of moving him in a "change of scenery" type trade.

pumping the brakes so hard on that Leafs trade it goes through the windshield. Not remotely good enough to even bother with a counter offer

While having Panarin along with Strome and Marner would definitely be one of the best lines in hockey, Marner's AAv is a problem. I'd seriously consider it if I knew that Trouba would bounce back offensively and become the PP quartback he was in WIN

the leafs would probs want fox more then deangelo. Deangelo is more offensively gifted and struggles in his own zone. He could work on a pairing with Muzzin but honestly I think the leafs would rather have an all around RD or a defensive minded RD.

Uhhh... it is. ADA's analytics are great on their own and when you take into account that he played with freaking Marc Staal he's actually ben one of the best d-men in the league. Plus Lemieux is exactly what TOR needs and Buchnevich is 20-25 goals scorer

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's not enough for Marner. D'Angelo isn't near as good as you're making him out to be (hello PDO wave) and even if he was, he's going to cash in large soon. Oh and the racism, and homophobia etc etc etc. Plus Lemiux is a 3rd liner and no, not "exactly what TOR needs" they have lots of 3rd liners. And Buchnevich is a 14-21 goal scorer.

Not enough for Marner.

the rangers don't really need trouba to be their pp1 quarterback. fox showed he can handle pp1 time and with guys like lundkvist, jones coming up there is going to be guys who will be able to step up. trouba at pp2 is fine for now. the rangers are going to have a top 5 pp without deangelo.
