No ovi isn't. In his prime he was, but not right now. Matthews is the better overall player.

hahaha hes my one exception....no I mean I get hes good and all but I just hate him so god damn much, and it pisses me off that he gets to play on a great team with Bergeron and Pastrnak...i dont think his numbers are anywhere close to where they are now if he was on a different team

hes a huge tool on and off the ice and doesn't deserve any praise

Wrong. Watch him play then, he's always the 2nd or 3rd best player on the ice. Only McDavid-Draisaitl COULD put him 4th when we face EDM.


And he isn't " a tool ", he's cleaned up his game but you only say that because of what's he done in the past. Sure, it doesn't disappear but you also need to see when he does something good. Also, he loves to annoy every opponent and same thing always happen: Marchand disturbs the opponent, that guy can't keep his cool and takes a stupid penalty ---> Bruins PP (one of the best every year) and we score.

Just relax and don't bite (actually do it so we have a PP) and everything will be fine.

And " also off-ice " that's just being ignorant I won't even waste my time


(I know one guy that would like a player like him on his line: Jack Eichel)

if Buffalo acquired Marchand i would stop being a Sabres fan....i mean how can you seriously root for that guy hes the dirtiest player in the league, theres like 20 minute long compilations on youtube of him doing some of the stupidest things a hockey player has ever done

Again, he stopped doing that. And no, the " dirtiest player " is probably Tom Wilson or that pos at 2C in Colorado. Marchand only annoys his opponents
