Isn't NJD getting a top 5 pick this draft. No way you get that with Bozak and Dunn.

That’s the Van pick that they got from TBL, but trading Dunn would be so dumb.

Signing Scandella was dumb especially if Alex gets re-signed

Yeah, signing Scandella seems to have cap hand cuffed the Blues. If nothing else, you think the Blues could have waited.

Unless Army already knows he won't be able to pay the asking price. Perhaps Petro and/or his agent has already told Armstrong he's not resigning for anything less than $x, and Army knows he won't have the cap space. If that is the case...if...then resigning Scandella is a solid move. I don't like the term, but he's a good defenseman.

If Pietrangelo isn’t signing, I’ve got no problems with paying that for a defensive 2nd pair guy. The Faulk trade though...

I don’t like the idea of trading Dunn at all, he is already really good and has an incredibly high ceiling. I would hate to have to watch him hit his prime and become a household name not wearing a Blue Note.

I hated the Faulk trade when it happened and keep liking it less and less everyday. I was/still am really high on Bokk and think we will all see just how bad that trade was in a couple years when Bokk cracks the canes roster.

I think that trade makes everyone happy except for the other teams in the central, the atlantic, and anyone who was gonna try to sign petro. He might want a little bit more than that because Karlsson and Doughty absolutely ****ed the market but theres room there
