    An aging UFA goaltender and a top prospect with some picks does not get you one of the best centers in the league

    Why does Florida do this, why do people want BOB CBO'd, He had 1 bad year with terrible numbers and 8 great years. Odds that he bounces back are very high. I would not buy him out if I am Florida. I would improve my D to suit him and a system he is used to.

    47.5 mill in cash, 2 first rounders and a top prospect does. rangers turn this deal down.

    They just get the money from Toronto and Montreal anyways. Equalization

    he's signed for 2 years....This isn't a Jack Eichel situation.

    Barkovs value is around Mika's. I'd think Ranger fans are pretty well versed in knowing what Barkov's value would be. lol

    The point is that there's no reason for the Rangers to blow all the progress of their rebuild on a player who is gone after 2 seasons anyway.
