Description

Not saying its fair, and not saying I believe the cr*p that that writer suggested. But if the panthers truly were willing to do this in order to clear the books, Detroit could reap the benefits. Cap situation seems bleak for them now, but in the next 1-3 years most of the brutal contracts, other than Matheson, come off of the books.

You still need a 2nd pairing Dman. I guess you’d have to wait 2 years for one from the 2021 draft to be ready.

Stralman... in the future they'll have to get one, but shouldn't be an issue when all of these old contracts expire? What do you think in terms of the actual trade though? I hate to do it but they need some relief and while I don't believe this report, its fun to speculate.

Take Matheson and Glendening out of the deal and change the 3 2nds to 2 1sts and you might have something there.
