yeah that buffalo trade is a big uh oh. The toronto trade is fine though

not from florida... they have no interest in giving away Weegar for someone that doesn't fit their needs.

They only make that trade if the first one goes though cause they have Jokiharju.



I don't get what's wrong. Buffalo becomes a contender and Florida gets an amazing young D core to build off of.

They're also losing two superstars at once. Dahlin for Huberdeau is a 1 for 1. Matheson - MarJo also is a wash. I don't think Barkov is worth Jokiharju, and we haven't even considered the retention. Florida has no offensive punch after this deal. I highly doubt either of them get moved, but if there is a trade, I can assure you both of their top guys are not going at once.

Sabres pass in a big way. Trading a top 2 and a top 4 defenseman for two guys with a combined 5 years left on their contract amd a guy Florida doesn't want? Hard pass on this awful trade. Dahlin is more untouchable than Barkov. Jokiharju would only be moved in a deal that the Sabres absolutely couldn't pass up. This isn't it. Massive fail.

Florida also doesn't make the Toronto deal. Don't need or want an overrated Johnsson.
